Jedi is a patent & trademark attorney, inventor, and entrepreneur. He helps companies in a variety of industries related to construction, manufacturing, engineering, and retail. His clients range from large, well-established manufacturers to startups and locally-owned shops. His passion for these industries comes from his own experience swinging a hammer and working as a foreman. As the son of a construction worker and project manager, hard work is in his blood.
Jedi's firsthand experience also extends to intellectual property: he is a named inventor on over 40 patents, and has helped businesses and entrepreneurs secure hundreds of patents and trademarks. And, before founding Ballcap Legal™, Jedi was General Counsel for a powersports manufacturing company, where he helped management develop and execute an intellectual property strategy, raise over $35 million dollars, and prepare for an IPO.
Jedi's biggest passion in life, though, is his four children (and, to a lesser extent, his two cats and one dog!). Most of Jedi's free time is spent cooking with his kids, coaching and watching football (or waiting for football season to start), playing the piano, and helping his children develop their passions and interests.
