As contract General Counsel to ARB Midstream, LLC, Ryan Newburn served as the Co-Chair of the Unsecured Creditors Committee for the $1.2 billion Delaware bankruptcy of Extraction Oil & Gas, Inc. (NASDAQ: XOG). Over a period of ten months, the Unsecured Creditors Committee, appointed by the U.S. Trustee, engaged legal counsel, and investment banking financial advisory services, to maximize returns to general unsecured creditors of Extraction Oil & Gas. As Co-Chair of the Committee, Ryan oversaw the Committee's strategy, reviewed court filings and helped direct the Committee's engaged professionals.
